I love pelmeni so much. its the ultimate ready-to-eat food you can get in supermarkets; the only competition is good canned bean stews with sausages and such. the only simple and feasible way to improve the frozen ones I think would be to include eggs in the dough

The classic stuffing inside dumplings is made of beef, onion, milk, salt and pepper. However, there are branded proprietary variants that bring a variety of flavor.

I spend some time in France and there were some quite eatable canned raviolis. Not sure if that still exists (that was a long time ago), but they were my pelmenis replacement lol.
