Salil al-Sawarim, we sing to the father
Ṣalīl' aṣ-ṣawarīm našīdu al-ʻabāh
And the path of the warrior is the way of life
Wa-darba al-qitāli ṭarīqu al-ḥayāh
Between the valleys, the wolf is preying
Fa-bayn āqtiḥāmi yubīd aṭ-ṭuġāh
And the beautiful voice is calling
Wa-kātīmu ṣawti jamīli ṣadāh
